Goals Achieved:
- Got together in class to brainstorm about DanforthAvenue
- Talked about what we already know or heard aboutthis area
- Agreed that the Danforth is a predominantlyGreek neighborhood
- Wrote down briefly about anything and everythingthat we know so far
Goals for the Coming Week:
- Our main goal for the upcoming week is to gather ANY type of information we have and when we come backfrom break we will choose which categories we will focus on and go from there
- Sunny - Will visit some stores in this area and doresearch by conducting interviews with somestoreowners
- Purpose of this is to get a sense of the areaand the types of people who live here- Matthew - Will do research on the web to findinformation about this area.
- Wynne - Will go to several libraries to search forchronicles, old newspaper articles and find some information

From information we've gathered from 'word-of-mouth'
- The only center in Canada that is truly GREEK
- Soccer celebration from the world cup
- Taste of Danforth
- Twice a year there is a parade to promote customs,diversity, and traditions (Greek pride?)
- We’re thinking about making a website geared towards Greek people wanting to immigrate to Canada and findmore information about this area
- We’ll keep in mind of the other nationalities inthis area, however our main focus may rest on the Greek community
